General Hospital Recap: Franco’s Women Are On His Side!

The General Hospital recap for Friday, February 8 features Scotty buying some time for his son–and that time allows Franco to get into some pretty deep conversations with those closest to him.

Scotty’s (Kin Shriner) not a bad lawyer at all and managed to get a judge to order that Franco (Roger Howarth) have an MRI before he can be arraigned. Perhaps the tumor was back and therefore Franco would need medical help and not jail.

Of course, this was all to delay things, but it got Franco to the hospital. It was there that he ran into Ava (Maura West) and defended himself. How could he possibly think he could kill Kiki (Hayley Erin)? She was like a daughter to him and even thought she was his daughter for decades.

Ava finally admitted that she believes Franco and he was relieved. But, poor Franco did have to wonder about himself. He asked Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) if it’s possible the tumor really did return and he did the horrible things but just doesn’t know it. Liz refused to even entertain that.

Griffin (Matt Cohen) wasn’t happy to be the one to perform Franco’s MRI, but he’s just not happy in general lately. At least he gave blood and ‘Kevin’ decided to join him for the free cookie. Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) pumped him for information on Ava as his demented jealous streak came out.

He later followed Griffin to the hospital roof with a syringe just as Ava was looking for him in Kevin’s office.

Meanwhile, Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) wasn’t so sure Franco was the killer but Margaux just wanted a conviction whether he’s their man or not.

Elsewhere, Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) was surprised when Sam (Kelly Monaco) showed up at Dawn of Day feigning true interest in the place. She then talked more with Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) who told her she’s attracted to dangerous men for a reason.

At Charlie’s Pub, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) lamented her sad life to a total stranger who asked her out for dinner. She said no and then went to see her new therapist…who was the man from Charlie’s Pub. Of course.
