The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, January 5, 2021, features a Franco in need, a furious Laura, a suspicious Anna, and an incredulous Jax.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Franco (Roger Howarth) showed up at the address formerly known as the Morgan apartment with some good news for Jason (Steve Burton) – his brain tumor may not be turning him back into a homicidal maniac after all.
However, Franco was disappointed to learn from Sam (Kelly Monaco) that Jason no longer lived there. With that, Franco attempted to gracefully exit…and was immediately felled by the voice of Peter August (Wes Ramsey), who currently occupies his noggin.
Against her better judgment, Sam brought Franco in for some water and a quick chat. And try as he did to convince Sam that he had merely suffered a migraine headache, Franco realized he wasn’t getting anywhere.
When Jason swung by the apartment, he wasn’t exactly chuffed to see his former tormentor and self-proclaimed number one fan. And he was further disappointed by Franco’s news. But then Jason decided to look on the bright side of things. Franco MIGHT still revert to his old ways and then he would get to put a bullet between his eyes.
Family Squabbles
Following a contentious conversation with Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) lap dog, Laura (Genie Francis) regrouped with Martin (Michael E. Knight) and revealed she hadn’t made any progress in locating Florence. The good news? Laura was 99.4% sure Jason wouldn’t harm the ailing pensioner. The bad news? Martin wasn’t so sure he can trust his newfound sister’s instincts.
Nosy Parkers
Meanwhile, Anna (Finola Hughes) continued to investigate Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and his so-called rehabilitation. By happenstance she learned of a connection between Dante’s psychiatrist, Dr. Kirk, and Franco; then she heard about the doctor’s suspicious demise in Geneva.
But Ms. Devane had far more pressing matters to concern herself with. Namely Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), who solidified her control of Dante and wound up trapped in the same hallway as her second most hated foe. Anna, you in danger girl!
Over at Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) house, he and Carly (Laura Wright) attempted a civil conversation concerning Josslyn (Eden McCoy), which then devolved into an argument about Sonny and the secret they are keeping from Nina (Cynthia Watros). Shocker!
Simultaneously, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was doing his utmost to shake Nina’s confidence in her new lover. Double shocker! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
