The General Hospital recap for Friday, September 25, 2020, features Franco and Liz coming to terms with their deception and Alexis receiving some stinging condemnation.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Regrets? Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco (Roger Howarth) have a few. Especially Elizabeth. She can’t believe that she allowed Franco to talk her into blackmailing Ava (Maura West) and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) over their indiscretions…and her guilt was compounded by Scotty’s (Kin Shriner) admission to extorting $125,000 dollars (each!) from the pair rather than the previously agreed-upon $25,000.
For his part, Franco was tickled pink by the upped stakes. He was certain that not only can Ava and Nikolas afford it, but that they’ll also pay it. Liz still needed convincing – but it didn’t take much. And besides, at least she and Franco have come out the other side of what was a rapidly-fracturing marriage.
Alexis Is Assigned The Blame
Despite her protests to the contrary, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) insisted on escorting Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to Neil’s memorial service. Turns out, Valentin’s presence was most certainly required.
Not only does Neil’s brother hold Alexis responsible for Neil’s medical license being revoked, but he also lays the responsibility of the former doctor’s overdose squarely at her feet. And furthermore, he refuses to have Neil’s service “tainted” by her presence.
Off that emotionally draining confrontation, Alexis and Valentin retired to The Floating Rib and momentarily parted. He went outside to talk to Ned (Wally Kurth) – and got a fist in the face for his effort. She saddled up to the par and ordered a double vodka!
Robert and Ethan Remember Holly
While in route to Port Charles, Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Ethan (Nathan Parsons) extolled Holly’s (Emma Samms) many virtues and excused many of her trespasses – like lying about Ethan’s paternity.
Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) did her utmost to convince Ethan to remain in Port Charles, but he wasn’t interested in settling down. Not yet anyway. Besides, he had far too many scores to settle and way too many warrants to dodge.
Happy Days Are Here Again – At Least For Some
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), Josslyn (Eden McCoy), and Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) were all informed of Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) death, and none could muster much sympathy for the loss.
Chase (Josh Swickard) was sure that the circumstances were now perfect to come clean to Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) but Sasha told him to slow his role. That ship, she claimed, has sailed. As has Brook Lynn’s chances of ever recording that jingle for Deception. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
