General Hospital Recap: The Engagement Ring Game

The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, May 14 features Robert in a quagmire, Kevin and Julian in a quarrel, and Sasha in a quandary.

Finn (Michael Easton) called Robert (Tristan Rogers) and demanded the return of his engagement ring,  which Robert promised was forthcoming. However, unbeknownst to Robert, Mike Corbin has taken the ring and, when Robert noticed it missing, he hit the floor in search of the missing bauble.

Mac (John J. York) and Felicia (Kristin Wagner) arrived and helped in the search and when that proved futile Mac and Robert departed for a contact who could produce a convincing replica.

In Toronto, Peter (Wes Ramsey), Curtis (Donnell L. Turner), Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Laura (Genie Francis) fought the intense cold snap by battling it out over old school trivia games.

Laura and Curtis both realized that they had interrupted an intimate moment between the younger couple and later they each gave the two love birds relationship advice. Later, Peter and Maxie made love.

Back in Port Charles Ava (Maura West) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) waited in the park for their next photo op but it was Julian (William DeVry) who ran into the pair in an intimate embrace.

Julian violently pulled them apart and chastised Kevin for taking advantage of Ava, who insisted to her brother that she and Kevin were a couple. Noticing the photographer arrive Kevin goaded Julian into punching him. When the police arrived, Kevin pressed charges.

Michael (Chad Duell) ran into Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) at the Metro Court and told her he had overheard her in the hospital wising that Nina was her real mother. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) overheard the exchange and was pleased that Sasha was able to cover her slip of the tongue.

After a heated parent-teacher conference (over the inclusion of a book dealing with same-sex parents) Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was informed she wouldn’t have a job next year.

Laura and Curtis returned to investigate the abandoned house but the female owner refused to cooperate. Later, her unseen house guest slammed a butcher knife through a photo of Ava and Kevin.
