General Hospital Recap: Death, Destruction, And Schemes

The General Hospital recap for March 2-6, 2020, features a whole canvas full of characters making sure to use or embody the word allegedly.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

When you live in Port Charles, you learn to add the word alleged into your everyday vernacular – because you never know when it’s usage might be handy or be your undoing. Take for instance Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier).

She allegedly attacked Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and allegedly planned to flee the country with her son in tow with the aide of forged passports. But since Willow is a less than reliable witness and the passports could not be produced – allegedly pilfered by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) – she got to walk away scot-free.

Liesl (Kathleen Gati) is allegedly Drew’s (Billy Miller) murderer and the hirer of the would-be hospital assassin because her name was on a list that tied her to Faison and a jaunt to Afghanistan.

And Peter (Wes Ramsey) is allegedly reformed despite framing of Liesl for his crimes. Will Anna (Finola Hughes) ever see the light?

Neil (Joe Flanigan) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) are allegedly not in a relationship and yet they continue to project all appearances to the contrary.

Nina (Cynthia Watros) is allegedly an ace Editor-in-Chief at Crimson, and yet all the heavy lifting is done by Maxie (Kristen Storms) while her boss saunters off to Tunisia. Boy, that job offer at Deception is looing mighty sweet, Maxie?

Jordan: Not A Very Good Cop

Jordan is allegedly a good cop and yet she’s relying on text messages and blind faith to assure her of TJ’s (Tajh Bellow) safety. Heck, she isn’t even worried to hear that he missed an entire day of work at the hospital.

Taggert (Real Andrews) is allegedly dead but we have our doubts. Nobody in Port Charles ever really stays dead. In fact, they tend to be cryogenically frozen and then thawed out a decade or two later.

Oh, and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) parole officer is allegedly bad news because she doesn’t want a confessed hitman around Sam or her children – but after that burner phone revelation, we might need to strike out allegedly!

GH Musings

Linc: “That Miguel Morez is so needy. I told him – I said, ‘Miguel you’re my client, I love you. You’re great. You’re hot. But, that look isn’t retro baby. It’s just backward.” For the uninitiated, Morez was the character Ricky Marin portrayed in the mid-1990s.

Cameron: “My biological father died before I was born. My mom – she’s told me some stuff about him…he committed a bunch of crimes and stuff.” The man in question was Zander Smith and Cameron is named in honor of his father, Dr. Cameron Lewis.

Anna: “So, Richard Hauer is the Bureau Chief of Central Europe and he’s been conducting a forensics investigation into Faison’s operations…have you heard of Lumina Industrial Enterprises?” Tsk, tsk Anna. Surely you recognize the name of the home planet that your buddy, Cassy the Alien, hailed from.

Nelle: “You’re just as much a felon as I am, Michael.” True, Nelle. But we have to agree with Carly’s argument that Michael’s “mistake” – and yes we are calling “bludgeoning Claudia Zacchara to death,” a mistake – pales in comparison to your own. And at least he pled guilty as opposed to your, “No Contest.” General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
