The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, June 24, 2020, features the third of a five-day, five-episode marathon of all things Sam and Jason. On today’s show, the couple’s Hawaiian vacation is ruined by a gun-toting maniac and his posse.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Steve Burton) can’t have anything nice. It’s forbidden. The unwritten rule that these two must abide by is that if anything seems too good to be true then it definitely is.
They aren’t even allowed 10 full minutes of fun and relaxation down in the Aloha State. Instead, Jason has to suffer the wrath of a very pissed off gangster named Manny Ruiz (Robert LaSardo).
Can Sam Save Jason?
Manny isn’t happy that Jason shot him and caused him to lapse into a coma. However, Jason once saved the life of one of Manny’s brothers – and no, it wasn’t the identical-looking priest from the Metro Court siege episode.
So by underworld rules, Manny has to spare Jason’s life. But if he can beat Jason up enough and force the man to attack him, THEN he can shoot him and be done with it. Jason understood the game…and he refused to play. Now if only Sam can figure out a way to save her man…

Jax (Ingo Rademacher) loves Courtney (Alicia Leigh Williams). Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) loves Emily (Natalia Livingston). But both men are filing for divorce from those respective ladies.
Emily loves Nikolas. But she’s seeing Sonny (Maurice Benard). Courtney doesn’t exactly know who she loves but she does know that she’s pregnant…but she can’t be sure if the father is Jax or Nikolas. Emily knows about Courtney’s condition and she’s fighting mad.
But she has bigger fish to fry. She and her soon to be ex-husband have a wedding to plan. There’s no way they are going to let Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucky (Greg Vaughan) get married in a rinky-dink ceremony in Audrey Hardy’s living room. Their best friends deserve nothing but the best.
Big Bad
Officer Jesse Beaudry (Matt Marraccini) was absolutely convinced that Diego Alcazar (Ignacio Serricchio) was the stalker who had been terrorizing the female coeds at PCU. And it was a fact that Brook Lynn (Adrianne Leon) became all too aware of when he drugged her and revealed that he is out to avenge the death of his cousin, Sage.
