Jason (Steve Burton) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) scramble to find the engagement ring after it fell several stories. Unfortunately, the two won’t have much luck in this department but no worries! Jason is nothing if not inventive. He thinks he can ask her without having a ring. Maxie cures him of this notion by letting him know what every woman expects.

One thing Sam (Kelly Monaco) does expect is for Jason to propose, which she informs her mother about. She wants approval from Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who obviously has some issues with Jason’s dangerous job but more than anything, she just wants her daughter to have love. Later, Jason — still sans ring — finds a way to improvise for their special moment.
Jax Prepares To Leave
Jax (Ingo Rademacher) goes to Carly’s (Laura Wright) in order to say goodbye to his daughter. While Michael (Chad Duell) goes off to get her, it gives Jax a moment to speak with Morgan. He will apologize to his stepson for all the promises he made to be there and lets him know how much he has loved watching him grow up.
