The General Hospital recap for Friday, March 19, 2021, features Jackie wallowing in a mess of her own making, Valentin and Ned getting some shocking news, and Carly and Liz having (intense) words.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Jackie (Kim Delaney) attempted to drown her sorrows in some neat scotch, and she was eventually joined by the comforting presence that is Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). They discussed the drama surrounding Chase’s (Josh Swickard) paternity, and Robert offered up his services as confidant extraordinaire – not bad for a pair of exes whose reunion consisted of her punching his torso!
Meanwhile, Chase and Finn (Michael Easton) attempted to hash out their differences, but Chase couldn’t reconcile the fact that accepting Finn as his father would mean pushing Gregory (Gregory Harrison) into the background.
Further complicating matters was the release of the whole sordid story on the Invader website. And while Chase laid on the blame at Jackie’s feet, there’s enough to go around…especially since it was Cyrus (Jeff Kober) who tampered with the test results in order to stick it to Miss Templeton!
Observational Skills
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) attempted to reacquaint himself with Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), but she wasn’t interested. And that might have something to do with the fact that she’s pregnant with his child!
Valentin managed to connect the dots…and he insisted that he was going to be a part of his spawn’s upbringing. Fat chance, Brook Lynn responded. He’ll have whatever kind of relationship with her child that she deems fit.
Mission: Impossible
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) made moves to complete his mission, but before he could pump Peter (Wes Ramsey) full of lead, he was talked around by a concerned Sam (Kelly Monaco). Concerned for Dante’s wellbeing, you understand, not for Peter’s.
And while Peter scurried off into the night like the coward that he is, Sam rushed Dante over to GH, and into the hands of Dr. Kevin Collins (John Lindstrom).
Advanced Warning
Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) requested Ned’s (Wally Kurth) presence at the mansion, and upon his arrival, she informed him of Brook Lynn’s return. Ned was thrilled his daughter was back – but he’d much preferred to talk with Liv about reconciliation. Olivia wasn’t at all ready…and Ned wasn’t in the least bit prepared to find out that his daughter was pregnant with Valentin’s baby.
Get With The Program
Carly (Laura Wright) confronted Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and berated her for blaming Jason (Steve Burton) for Franco’s (Roger Howarth) death. Didn’t she know that her ex hung the moon and the stars? General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
