The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, April 20, 2021, features a whole lotta talk about Florence, a family argument getting out of hand, a suspicious rescue, and so much more.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Carly (Laura Wright) and Laura (Genie Francis) teamed up to try and dissuade Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) from liberating Florence, but their pleas fell on deaf ears. And when the possibility of casualties was raised, Carly agreed to admit defeat and surrender her hostage.
Afterward, both women dragged Nikolas for his idiocy. Luckily for the brooding Prince, Ava (Maura West) was around to soothe his dinged ego. Elsewhere, Cyrus (Jeff Kober) had news for Martin (Michael E. Knight). Mama’s coming home!
An Inside Assist
Meanwhile, Alexis’s bacon was saved by another Pentonville inmate, whom she later learned was on Cyrus’s payroll. But why on earth would Cyrus want to help her out. Might this have something to do with that last sketchy conversation she had with dear old Nikolas? And if so, what exactly did he have to do ensure her protection?
The Blame Game
Anna (Finola Hughes) paid Jason (Steve Burton) a visit and apologized for not putting Peter (Wes Ramsey) under heel sooner…oh, and she’s sorry for trying and failing to do so now.
For his part, Jason was incredibly understanding and forgiving – which is probably why Anna finally agreed that a dead Peter would be just as agreeable as a Peter whom they could control.
This Is The End
Hold your breath and count to 10…the Josslyn (Eden McCoy)/Cameron (William Lipton) friendship is in serious danger of imploding. She can’t bring herself to see his point that an unrepentant hitman didn’t murder his father; he can’t agree that the unrepentant hitman is innocent.
So the teens are at an impasse, and hopes for a reconciliation look slim to none. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
