The General Hospital recap for Monday, May 24, 2021, features Cyrus getting snatch happy, Peter (hopefully!) meeting his maker, and Maxie reaching her breaking point.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
If Cyrus (Jeff Kober) had a kink, it would probably be holding old, defensive women against their will – whether they’re aware of the circumstances or not. Florence isn’t exactly in the know where her status as a hostage is concerned, but Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) is only too painfully aware. And to add insult to injury, she was kidnapped from her room at The Metro Court before she got to cut into that filet mignon. How rude!
Whodunit?
Who’s to thank for that tumble Peter (Wes Ramsey) will take down the hospital stairs in six hours’ time? That’s the million-dollar question. It’s not as though there’s a dearth of suspects.
Is Ignorance Bliss?
Try as she might, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) can no longer live without knowing whether or not she has the genetic marker for Huntington’s. She’s taken the test, she’s waited for the results, and now they’re in. Much to Britt’s consternation, they do indeed indicate that she carries the genetic marker for the disease.
Blame Game
“Mike” (Maurice Benard) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) have got the goods on Elijah (Dan White)…if only they’d come about them legally. But have no fear, Nina has another plan. She’ll use her good looks and effervescent charm to distract the baddie, while “Mike” breaks into his house. (How this plan is any more appropriate than their last one is anybody’s guess.)
“Mike” said no way Jose; Nina forced his hand by running off with Elijah, their destination unknown. Just as “Mike” readied himself to give chase, he was interrupted by Officer Dudley Do-Nothing Right, who came with questions about the break-in at Elijah’s office.
A Friend In Need
Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) paid Maxie (Kirsten Storms) a friendly visit, during the course of which he realized that something was very, very wrong. Maxie kept going on and on about losing her baby, failing to meet her daughter before she’s taken, etc.
His ex’s ramblings greatly perturbed Spinelli, and he begged her to confide in him exactly what was on her mind. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
