The General Hospital recap for Thursday, April 16, 2020, features Violet’s birthday party turning into a horror show, Chase making a bold suggestion, Jason and Sonny strategizing, and Robert playing sleuth.
Trouble making Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) continued to hover over – and vehemently protect – Violet’s (Jophielle Love) unicorn-shaped piñata while the other children continued to delight in the day’s offerings.
After being cornered by Maxie (Kirsten Storms), who begged him to go easy on Peter (Wes Ramsey), Robert (Tristan Rogers) made his exit; but not before asking Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) to cover up his absence.
Ava (Maura West) took the opportunity to confide in Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) her woes over Nikolas’ (Marcus Coloma) depressed mood. And though she admonished his recent choices, Elizabeth seemed overly concerned for her former lover.
Afterward, the children gathered in the living room and each one had a chance to open the piñata. The birthday girl had the magic touch and as the kids descended on the treats, Ava went to collect her cell phone…and found Charlotte’s pet snake hiding in her purse!
An overwhelmed Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) happily agreed to Chase’s (Josh Swickard) suggestion that they leave the party. They retired to the park where the conversation turned to – what else? – Wiley and the upcoming custody battle.
Willow worried about the possibility of Nelle (Chloe Lanier) obtaining the boy – least we forget, Nelle is a bad, bad lady. In response to his girlfriend’s fear, Chase told Willow to accept Michael’s (Chad Duell) proposal.
After bidding Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Danny (Porter Fasullo) farewell, Jason (Steve Burton) received a phone call from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). He informed Sonny (Maurice Benard) that their newest enemy wanted to set up a meeting and the men strategized over what to do moving forward.
Robert picked the lock to Peter and Maxie’s apartment and let himself inside. He rummaged around, hoping to find some sort of damning evidence, but was stopped in his tracks by Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) surprise arrival. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
