The General Hospital recap for Friday, April 12 features Kevin’s lucky day as Nora Buchanan returned to town and pulled off a legal coup.

Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) wondered why the judge summoned them back to court and Nora (Hillary B. Smith) said it’s because she requested a hearing. She argued that a man can’t be held responsible for aiding and abetting a fugitive when said fugitive was legally dead.

In fact, Ryan might be legally dead again soon as the American and Canadian authorities want to declare him dead. Still, someone was following Ava (Maura West) today and odds are it was Ryan.

Laura (Genie Francis) was thrilled to see her husband out of jail as an emboldened Kevin returned to the hospital to appeal the board’s decision to suspend him.

Finn (Michael Easton) and Laura even had a talk on Friday as she looked for his expert medical opinion to see if he thinks Ryan could still be alive. Finn could not assure her Ryan is dead and she relayed that info to Kevin.

It seemed Finn was also more concerned with finally proposing to Anna (Finola Hughes) but when he got home, he found her with Robert (Tristan Rogers) going down the rabbit hole of ‘Is Robin Really My Daughter?’ — which Robert found preposterous.

He told her he just knows she is Robin’s mother and that it was her that he was with all those years ago. He decided Anna was still trying to punish herself for becoming a double agent with the DVX.

Maxie (Kirsten Storms) still felt horrible about running that DNA test on Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and she and Peter (Wes Ramsey) took Sasha out to lunch to apologize. Over at Crimson, a guilt-ridden Sasha stood up for Maxie and Nina (Michelle Stafford) forgave her.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
