General Hospital Recap: Carly’s Bad Week Keeps Getting Worse

The General Hospital recap for Thursday, December 13 features Carly losing her mind once again. It’s just been a real bad week to be Carly Corinthos.

Carly’s (Laura Wright) week started with a catfight with Ava (Maura West) because she couldn’t wait an extra 30 minutes to visit Morgan’s grave and avoid Kiki’s burial. That’s when she earned the nickname Ferncliff from her arch enemy (and many fans).

Then, she got into it with Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) thinking he was Kevin and Ryan told her to just stop talking, and then called her out on all the terrible things she’s done. And all the terrible things Sonny’s done.

Today, she learned that (OMG! Gasp!) Sonny (Maurice Benard) had the absolute nerve to lend Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) a scarf when she was standing outside in the cold at her father’s grave. That HAS to mean she’s ready to put her and Sonny in jail again.

Jason (Steve Burton) had to talk her down from the ledge and also had to explain that maybe at this particular time in his life, Sonny maybe has a good reason for feeling sympathy towards people who lost fathers they loved.

Meanwhile, Sonny decided to pay a visit to Oscar (Garren Stitt) just to give the kid a pep talk while Josslyn (Eden McCoy) visited Charlie’s Pub to get him some onion rings.

She ran into Cameron (Will Lipton) there, who was trying to get Oscar’s job to keep it warm for him. Instead, he suggested that Oscar try some marijuana to stimulate his appetite.

Alas, Oscar did not eat his onion rings, so Josslyn got thinking. And Cameron placed a text to Trina.

At the Crimson offices, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Nina (Michelle Stafford) discussed the respective men in their lives, and Nina was won over when she learned how Peter (Wes Ramsey) spent the night in her hallway outside her door when Kiki was murdered. What a guy!

‘What a Guy’ was over at Wyndemere visiting with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) at the time. Valentin convinced him to drop the charges against Liesl (Kathleen Gati) and used Maxie’s feelings as a bargaining chip.
