The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, December 11, 2019 features a meeting of psychotic minds, a tense meeting between mother and daughter, trouble for Mr. and Mrs. Corinthos, and more answers about Brook Lynn’s troubles.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
An irritated Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) answered Nelle’s summons to Pentonville and found his client “hoping to resume my life outside of my 12×12 cell.” More succinctly, she wants out “tonight.”
Martin told her that it was impossible, the two engaged in a back and forth and Nelle seemed intrigued by his supposition she couldn’t get out unless her life was in danger. She immediately high tailed it to the infirmary where Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) was a patient fighting off an infection.
Nelle asked if they were still friends; “Abso-totes,” Ryan assured. They made secret plans that Ryan decided to “tweak” at the last second. Moments later, Detective Chase (Josh Swickard) — running down a lead on the identity of Franco’s (Roger Howarth) would be assassin — burst in the room and found Ryan brandishing a bloody scalpel with an injured Nelle at his feet.
A Willow Reunion
While Chase was busy playing super cop, his girlfriend warily invited her mother inside the apartment for a chat. Turns out Pentonville’s overcrowding problem has resulted in Harmony’s (Inga Cadranel) release and Willow (Kate MacMullen) wasn’t exactly sure how to feel about that.
They had a tense standoff over Wiley whom Willow quickly points out his now Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas’ (Ryan Carnes) child but, in the end, they bonded over photographs of the boy.
Trouble Brewing
Carly (Laura Wright) wasn’t sure it’s a good idea for Josslyn (Eden McCoy) to visit Mike (Max Gail) and her concern lead to an argument with Sonny (Maurice Benard). Carly tried to make him see that the end was near but Sonny refused to give up hope.
Hard Truths
Ned (Wally Kurth) finally got Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) to confess her reason for being in town — she abandoned her mom-as-manager for greener pastures, only to find out the pasture was run by a man who expected ‘favors’ for his services.
