The General Hospital recap for Monday, October 5, 2020, features teen angst, a criminal mastermind resurfacing, and so much more!

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Well aware that Trina (Sydney Mikayla) was in distress and in need of her best friend, Dev (Ashton Arbab) excused himself and went on the hunt for Josslyn (Eden McCoy). He quickly located her…as well as Cameron (William Lipton) and saw Cam and Joss kissing.

Dev interrupted the pair, made his apologies, and informed Joss of Trina’s situation. And while she took off to comfort her bestie, the boys stayed behind and Dev aired some grievances with Cameron. In particular, he wanted to know whether or not Cameron would have kissed Trina had he been alone with her prior to his little tete-a-tete with Joss.

Try as he might to justify his actions, Cameron ultimately had to confess that he wasn’t sure. In fact, he isn’t even sure which girl he actually has the deepest feelings for. But when Dev suggested that perhaps Cameron should admit his confliction to Joss and Trina, he adamantly refused.

Curiosity Thy Name Is Ava

When one flew over the cuckoo’s nest, there’s little doubt that the cuckoo one saw was Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), Port Charles’s resident stab-happy psychopath. The villain is clearly up to his old tricks, and Ava (Maura West) is the sweet treat that he’s after.

And despite her (usually) sound judgment, Ava actually allowed herself to be talked into visiting her ex-lover…apparently she never heard the old expression about cats and curiosity. Luckily, satisfaction is supposedly a sure-fire cure for the feline’s fate, and Ava’s found plenty of that with her literal Prince.

Everyone Needs A Cause

Thanks to Stella’s (Vernee Watson) well-intentioned meddling, Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) learned about T.J. (Tajh Bellow) and Molly’s (Haley Pullos) upcoming anti-Cyrus (Jeff Kober) protest.

Both were furious at the young man’s initiative. And while Curtis preached caution, Jordan opined that T.J. was in desperate need of counseling. For his part, T.J. insisted that what was best for him was taking control of his life. He’s not about to let the villains who abducted and beat him win.

The Brain Trust Gather

Pier 55 served as the setting for a meeting of the minds, namely Jason (Steve Burton), Sonny (Maurice Benard), and Brando (Johnny Wactor). The latter wanted to go undercover in Cyrus’ organization and destroy them from the inside. Sonny said no. The Godfather has spoken. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
