The General Hospital recap for Monday, May 11, 2020, features Willow and Michael making a major decision, Brook Lynn asking for a big favor, and Nelle getting the heave-ho — and gaining some major leverage.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
After a pow-wow with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), Michael (Chad Duell) was feeling pretty good about his chance of winning sole custody of Wiley. The only thing that he was sure would clinch the deal would be if Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) agreed to marry him.
And since she didn’t really have anything better to do — or a boyfriend to go home to — Willow agreed. But first, they had to clear something up. Was Michael really ready to pledge his life to a woman that would probably never fall in love with him? He said he was, Willow said great and just like that they’re getting married.
Nelle Gets Denied
Nelle (Chloe Lanier) had a proposition for Julian (William deVry). If he would testify on her behalf at the upcoming custody trial, she would let him stay in Wiley’s life. He could even continue to play grandpa if he so desired. But Julian wasn’t feeling charitable.
Brook Lynn: A Girl In Need Of Assistance
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was ready to cut to the chase with Detective Chase (Josh Swickard). He granted her the fact that she wasn’t the only guilty party sitting in the room — though his crime is being guilty of caring too much about Willow and her happiness — but her arrest would still stand.
He did, however, allow her unlimited access to the phone…least she stays the entire night in a PCPD cell. Brook Lynn finally found someone willing to bail her out of her predicament, but Julian’s help only came about because he was desperate to get away from Nelle.
Brook Lynn accompanied her savior back to the bar and thanked him for his help. Then she countered that had he not helped her, she would have ratted him out to “Uncle Sonny.”
But, as long as he continued to offer her his occasional assistance Brook Lynn promised that she’d keep quiet about his brake-tampering antics. Unluckily for Julian, the eavesdropping Nelle made no such promise!
Pity Party
Chase (Josh Swickard) was in no mood to join his brother at the Floating Rib…but he did accept his offer of a free beer and a chat when cornered on the pier. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
