The General Hospital recap for Friday, May 7, 2021, features trouble for Brook Lynn and Maxie, Cameron beginning his apology tour, and Carly seeking validation.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) raced over to Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) in order to finalize the details for their baby handover. Both women anxiously awaited Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) arrival, certain that she’d jump at the chance to help them out.
The meeting was interrupted first by Peter (Wes Ramsey) and then by the news that Britt was on the run with Jason (Steve Burton). What’s a pair of scheme princesses to do without their queen?
Making Amends
Cameron (William Lipton) has apologies to dole out and there’s no time like the present. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) magnanimously accepted the one offered to her, and she promised that she and Cameron are still friends. But she then insisted that he must say sorry to Jake and Jason…if Jason makes it out of his predicament alive.
Poison Control
Anna (Finola Hughes) let Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) know that she’d outed Peter’s secret to Finn (Michael Easton) and that she’s come up with a sure-fire plan to save Chase’s (Josh Swickard) life.
Disappointingly, said plan necessitated the scientist who first engineered the poison Peter used to still be alive, and he’s deader than a doornail. Drat! So, off she and Valentin went on respective assignments. Anna’s going to try and track down the man’s research, and Valentin is going to try and figure out where Peter is storing the bulk of the antidote.
The Wrong Side
Though she arrived at the PCPD to castigate Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) for rejoining the force, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) settled for flirting with Robert (Tristan Rogers) and confiding her troubles.
When Dante finally returned to the station, he didn’t have time to talk with his ma. Point of fact, he had a suspect to interrogate…but Miss McCall (Kelly Monaco) wasn’t in the least bit forthcoming.
In the end, and following a guilt trip from Olivia, Dante decided to not charge Sam for her interference in Jason’s case. But as for their budding friendship? It’s getting a severe nip in the bud.
Tell Me What I Want To Hear
Carly (Laura Wright) is so desperate to receive an “Atta Girl,” that she conjures up visions of Sonny (Maurice Benard), who gives her exactly what she needs. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
