The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, October 14, 2020, features Chase single-handedly ruining Deception’s chances of making it to a store near you. Also, the news of Maxie and Peter’s engagement made the rounds, and the pressure is getting to Jordan in the worst way possible.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Proving that she had learned nothing from the Man Landers debacle of yesteryear, Amy (Risa Dorken) agreed to lend Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) her voice. But on a purely lip-syncing basis – no Ursula the Sea Witch style switcheroo here.
With the blue-tooth rigging in place and Amy standing just outside the Metro Court dining room, Brook Lynn began to “sing” her tune. Enter Chase (Josh Swickard). A Chase who stupidly bellowed out Amy’s name right as she and Brook Lynn were settling into their groove resulting in the charade’s reveal.
The department store buyer refused to subject herself to any more foolishness. And not only did she intimate that the Deception team was incapable of managing their business, but she also insisted that she would not enter into a partnership agreement.
Lucy (Lynn Herring) blew her top, fired Brook Lynn on the spot, and huffed out the door. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) turned to the comforts of cocaine. And Brook Lynn laid all the blame for her failures upon Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Or as she succinctly labeled him: “the devil.”
Congratulations and Inspiration
Over at Anna’s (Finola Hughes) house, she was treated to the news of Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) engagement. Likewise, at the Floating Rib, Mac (John J. York) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) were informed of the impending nuptials. Robert put his best efforts into giving his congratulations but his hatred for Peter was still painfully evident.
Meanwhile, thanks to her convo with Peter, Anna believed that she had hit upon a way to prove conclusively whether or not she was the man’s mother. Since Peter had genetic markers for rheumatoid arthritis – and she does not – surely figuring out if Alex (Finola Hughes) possesses the same trait will answer the hotly-debated topic.
From Bad To Worse
Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) was in the midst of a no good, very bad day. And the last thing she needed was Portia (Brook Kerr) adding to her already guilty conscience. But add Portia did. And the confrontation nearly resulted in Jordan revealing Taggert’s (Real Andrews) status as a living, breathing individual. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
