The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, January 23 features a panicked Ryan thinking things are about to go horribly wrong.
Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) didn’t think a little thing like a literally blinding headache could thwart his plans to kill Lulu (Emme Rylan). In fact, what happened plagued his dreams as he called out Lulu’s name in his sleep.
From the way Ava (Maura West) was talking he assumed Lulu died, and acted quite surprised (and freaked out) when he learned she was still alive.
Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna (Finola Hughes) soon happened by to tell him about Anna’s little bout with blindness a few weeks ago. Ava was very offended when they asked if ‘Kevin’ had ever spent time with any WSB agents recently.
He was also questioned about how his attack came on and he recalled what happened with Lulu as he lies.
When alone, he crawled across the room to get Lulu’s license from his coat and managed to keep it hidden. Ryan was further shocked when Finn reported he has the same infection as Anna.
Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) was distressed that Lulu hadn’t picked her up at the scheduled time, and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was forced to tell her Lulu was sick. She insisted on going to the hospital where Laura (Genie Francis) comforted her.
Laura was later relieved to learn that Lulu’s prognosis was good, while Ryan wondered if this would mean the end for him.
Over at the catacombs, Jason (Steve Burton) survived the fall and looked for another way out. First responders informed Sam (Kelly Monaco) there indeed was a way out via Pier 55.
So, Sam donned her wet suit, whipped out the scuba gear and partied like it was 2012. Except this time, she saw Jason’s floating body and dived right in. Go Sam!
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) visited Nathan’s grave on their wedding anniversary and told him all about James, and also all about the Yankees losing to the Red Sox.
She even mentioned that she’s falling for Peter (Wes Ramsey) and asked Nathan for a sign — along with a truly durable waterproof mascara. Behold! Peter appeared and offered Maxie a tissue rather than the mascara.
