The General Hospital recap for Monday, July 29 features a child’s birthday party interrupted by some good old fashioned brawling, some messages from the other side, and one (hopefully) final gift from Oscar.
The Metro Court played host to a private family get-together to celebrate baby Wiley’s first birthday and day of adoption. (And being given away by his nutty mother. And only a psychic remembered the real baby who died.)
There were some surprise appearances — Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Julian (William deVry) arrived together after Willow cleared the way for Julian to spend time with his ‘grandson’ – and one very, very unwelcome party crasher.
Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) slinked into the restaurant bearing a gift for ‘his’ son. He also took the opportunity to make Willow feel uncomfortable and to threaten Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) — for the umpteenth time — with his plan to take Wiley away.
Michael (Chad Duell), fed up with Shiloh and angry after his visit with Nelle, roughed Shiloh up and physically helped him into a waiting elevator.
At Crimson, Franco (Roger Howarth) and Drew’s (Billy Miller) lunch was interrupted by a delivery from the United States Navy. It was a box bearing all of the medals Drew earned during his tour of duty — courtesy of Oscar who had put in a request for them back in February.
Franco and Drew discussed the possibility of Drew trying to get his memories back but Drew wasn’t interested. It’s just too bad that Shiloh is.
He seemed under the impression that the memories stashed on his former mates flash drive is just the ticket to get exactly what he wants. So, he placed a call to a shady associate (does Shiloh have any other kind?) and they began formulating plan to lift the all-important device from Drew’s office.
Ava (Maura West) took her new psychic, Chelsea, to a spot in the park that was special to Kiki hoping that the woman can make contact with her daughter. However, that proves to be easier said than done. Turns out Ava’s surrounded by ghosts, a LOT of ghosts. Murder victim Connie, murder victim by proxy AJ, Helena Cassadine, and even the Original Wiley surrounded Ms. Jerome.
Kiki came through long enough to chide her mother for falling for Ryan’s load of bull. She knows deep down that her mother still has feelings for that monster.
Ava then headed to Pentonville to have a sit down with the artist formerly known as Dr. Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom). General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
