The General Hospital recap for Friday, April 30, 2021, features Ava and Laura joining team Carly, Josslyn and Trina having a heart-to-heart, and much more.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

Ava (Maura West) insinuated herself into Carly’s (Laura Wright) scheme to pacify and distract Cyrus (Jeff Kober), and her recall of Cyrus’s veiled threat against Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) spurred Laura (Genie Francis) to throw in as well.

But how to get Cyrus out of the way? How about a dinner party with him as the honored guest? And wouldn’t it be lovely if Laura attended as well? Gosh, the lengths Laura is willing to go…

Now Entering Nixon Falls

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Trina’s (Sydney Mikayla) plan to pick up Jax (Ingo Rademacher) hit a minor snag when the car overheated and needed to be serviced.

In the meantime, the teens discussed Dev (Ashton Arbab), his death, and the fact that he shared (forged) pages from Josslyn’s diaries with Cameron (William Lipton).

Over at The Tan-o, Nina (Cynthia Watros) bid “Mike” (Maurice Benard) and Elijah (Dan White) a temporary adieu, and made her way to the hospital to collect Jax. Color her shocked to hear him say he doesn’t want to accept her help in getting him back home. Color her further shocked to see Josslyn and to hear that Trina’s made her way to Lenny (Rif Hutton) and Phyllis’s (Joyce Guy) bar.

Blast From The Past

Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) first day in the prison library is fraught with tension as everyone wonders how she landed such a cushy position. Her spirits are considerably lifted when she runs into Shawn (Sean Blakemore).

The two reminisced about their past love affair and of their children’s recent commitment ceremony. At the conversation’s end, Shawn encouraged Alexis to keep her job so they could continue chatting.

Taking The Proverbial Bullet

Cameron barged into Jason’s room and let the hitman have it with both barrels. Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) interrupted the pair and praised Jason for taking the brunt of the young man’s anger.

Meanwhile, Cameron bumped in Liz (Rebecca Herbst), and he insisted to her that not only was Jason guilty of killing Franco (Roger Howarth), but he was also a lost cause. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
