The General Hospital recap for Monday, August 10. 2020, features Sam making some accusations, Valentin and Cyrus (seemingly) getting exactly what they want and Julian telling his sister all.
Sam (Lindsay Hartley) overheard Brando (Johnny Wactor) admit to working on Jason’s (Steve Burton) bike and she immediately claimed negligence. When Brando insisted that he was perfectly capable of working on Jason’s motorcycle, Sam insisted on deliberate sabotage.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) attempted to calm Sam down, but once she took off for Jason’s room, he asked Brando if there was any truth to Sam’s accusation. Brando strenuously denied the charges – but he also purposefully hid the fact that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) had paid him a visit.
Sam’s interlude with the unconscious Jason was interrupted by Felix (Marc Samuel) and the news that her parole officer was downstairs making trouble. In response, she called Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and summoned him to her side.
Upon arrival, Valentin reiterated his proposal: give him Danny and Scout’s ELQ voting proxy (until their 18th birthdays) and he would arrange for her to be placed with a parole officer who would allow her unlimited access to Jason.
Over at the PCPD, Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) told Curtis (Donnell Turner) about her rendezvous with Cyrus. He was furious that his wife had met the villain solo. She insisted it had been her best game plan.
Furthermore, she explained what exactly it was that Cyrus wanted from her: propping up in the eyes of the Port Charles community. And to further that goal, Jordan called a press conference where she spoke to Cyrus’s “innocence” and the “malicious prosecution” to which he had been subjected.
Ava (Maura West) crashed Julian (William deVry) and Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) brunch and demanded some answers about their quickie nuptials. Nelle insisted that it was a marriage made in heaven. Julian copped to being blackmailed by the “blood-thirsty, manipulative little bitch.”
Ava wondered why Julian had yet to “deal” with his troublesome bride, but he insisted that he was waiting to see what the future held as far as Wiley’s custody was concerned.
Harmony (Inga Cadranel) paid Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) a visit and wished them well. When confronted about her working for Cyrus, Harmony clammed up…though she did caution Willow to turn to Jason in her time of need.
When Michael received the call informing him of Jason’s injury, Harmony hightailed it over to the hospital – but what’s her angle? General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
