General Hospital Recap: Ava’s More Desperate Than Ever!

The General Hospital recap for Friday, February 1 features Ava’s bizarrely desperate attempts to catch Kiki’s killer.

Ava’s surely about to lose it and proved it on Friday by cornering Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) at The Metro Court and begging her to use her magic psychic powers to figure out who killed her daughter.

She gave a stunned Olivia a picture of Kiki and a piece of the young woman’s jewelry, but Olivia told her she just can’t conjure up images on demand. Things have to come to her and at that moment, nothing was coming to her.

So, Ava (Maura West) returned to the hospital and tried Lulu (Emme Rylan) next. She begged her to please remember anything by throwing a picture of Kiki in Lulu’s frightened face.

Laura (Genie Francis) had to basically drag her out of the room and chastised her for agitating her daughter like that.

Ava realized she was beyond out of line, but Laura also realized Ava is going through every mother’s worst nightmare. Ava apologized and Laura looked like she wanted to give the woman a hug.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) decided to have a talk with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about this pre-nup Kevin told him about, but didn’t get far because Alexis just wanted therapy he wasn’t about to give her.

Franco (Roger Howarth) found Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and dropped the bad news that the cops think he’s the killer, and she suggested he see Kevin for therapy. Franco told Liz that Kevin broke up with him, but lo and behold, ‘Kevin’ later took him back, much to Franco’s surprise.

It was also the morning after Julian’s declaration of love, which also made it busybody central. Carly (Laura Wright) was intrigued to hear Drew (Billy Miller) and Kim (Tamara Braun) have been growing closer, while Drew decided to tell Julian he’s a jerk for hurting Kim.

Then, Carly found Drew and gushed about how he and Kim have been spending time together. Drew knew this had to do with making sure Sam sticks with Jason.

But, what about Julian and Kim? How do they feel? Well, apparently very much in love because Kim admitted she needed Julian (William devry) and they fell into a passionate embrace. Well, glad that’s settled.
