General Hospital Recap: Angry Kristina and Sam Hung It All Out To Dry

The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, May 5, 2020, features Nelle gaining an ally and Kristina telling Sam all about herself.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was left frustrated when Martin (Michael E. Knight) cautioned that he might only be able to get her joint custody of Wiley. She insisted that it had to be full custody — how else was she going to stick it to Carly (Laura Wright)?

Martin warned her to focus. She was battling Michael (Chad Duell) NOT his mother. Furthermore, if she wanted to stand a snowball’s chance in hell of becoming Wiley’s sole guardian she needed to refrain from using Michael’s recent break up as leverage and she also needed some character references.

But where in the world was she going to find even one of those? Why in her new place of business of course. Nina (Cynthia Watros) — the patron saint of Let’s Give Everybody A Second Chance — seemed perfectly willing to say only the nicest things about Nelle.

In fact, she thought that if mean ol’ Carly could just find it in her heart to forgive and forget there wouldn’t be an issue. Wiley needs a mother who could care less about his general well being and specific medical condition.

A Friend In Need

Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) told Elizabeth (Rebecca Budig) about Spencer’s ultimatum and she encouraged him to acquiesce. Meanwhile, Franco (Roger Howarth) was able to get to the root cause of Ava’s (Maura West) misery — she still blames herself for Kiki’s death.

Hard to Hear

Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) was not about to let Sam (Kelly Monaco) blame her for the struggle she was currently facing. First off, it was SAM who chose to go undercover and root out big, bad Shiloh (Colby Ryan McLaughlin).

In fact, Kristina was certain that even if there hadn’t been a Shiloh, Sam would have found herself in the same predicament. In case her sister wasn’t aware, Kristina was there to inform her that she and Jason were both adrenaline junkies and danger enthusiasts.

Oh, and in case Sam didn’t understand the hierarchy of Jason’s concern, it goes 1) Sonny, 2) Carly, and THEN her and the children they are raising. Personally, we would have said it was 1) Sonny, 2) Carly 3) Black, short sleeve t-shirts, and THEN Sam and the children they are raising.

Molly (Haley Pullos) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) were appalled at all the truth Kristina was spouting and they wondered how in the world she could say such things. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
