The General Hospital recap for Thursday, March 26, 2020, features Alexis saving Sam and Spinelli’s bacon – and then committing a major act of self-sabotage. Also, Nelle loses the mother of the year award, and Sonny and Jason ready themselves to commit a murder.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

After indulging in her favorite semi-weekly sport – awkward conversation with forbidden ex-lover Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan), – Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was summoned to a Queen’s Point bar by a desperate Sam (Kelly Monaco).

Upon arriving, Alexis was informed of Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) surveillance of Delores (Rebeka Montoya) and the woman’s intention to have him jailed under the Peeping Tom Act – unless of course he and Sam were to swear to never reveal her extramarital affair with Councilman Raskin.

After saving the duo’s proverbial bacon, Alexis was rewarded with a stinging condemnation for not being as selfish as her oldest daughter. Sam immediately apologized for her harsh words but a teary-eyed Alexis asked her to leave – and then promptly swallowed an on-the-house stiffener.

She Has Spoken

Nelle (Chloe Lanier) continued to deny Wiley his medical care and insisted that she would find her son a healing alternative to the surgery that Monica (Leslie Charleson) and Michael (Chad Duell) were pushing for.

When Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) filled Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) in on the latest crisis, she and Chase (Josh Swickard) rushed to the hospital. A confrontation with Nelle followed and in its aftermath, Willow insisted that Michael must get sole custody of his son by any means necessary.

Better The Devil You Know

Mayor Collins (Genie Francis) paid her favorite criminal a visit and warned him that if he could not quell the recent outbreak of violence, and rid her streets of the latest designer drug, she would strike out against all lawbreakers – himself included.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) assured her that he would do everything in his power to neutralize Cyrus (Jeff Kober) and he even admitted to being especially invested in the man’s downfall. Mike he revealed has still yet to recover from the Brooklyn-based attack.

Jason’s (Steve Burton) arrival tabled Laura and Sonny’s pow wow. Later, Stone Cold expressed his worry that Laura and the PCPD would immediately suspect them in the event of Cyrus’ “disappearance” but Sonny told him not to fear.

No one, Laura included was going to care if Cyrus bid this world adieu. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
