The General Hospital recap for Thursday, May 13, 2021, features Sasha revealing a personal secret, Sam getting her priorities straight, and more.
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was looking pretty green around the gills, but she was quick to tell Lucy (Lynn Herring) that she hadn’t relapsed. No, in point of fact, Miss Gilmore is with child…a development that has Lucy positively giddy. So long Face of Deception, and hello Face of Conception!
Sasha’s really glad that Lucy’s glad, but she’s not quite sure how she feels about the whole shebang. What she does know, is that she could do without the morning (and noon, and night) sickness. And what will Mama Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) say, now that she’s overheard her son’s *ahem* friend discussing her pregnancy over the phone?
For one brief and shining moment, it looked as though Jasam were about to reunite…and then he pointedly reminded her that she had kids back home to think of. How in the world could she leave them to galivant with a soon-to-be convicted criminal? That’s Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) job!
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is a woman who can do it all. Raise a daughter, run a hotel, spearhead a criminal organization. And she doesn’t need a man to help her…though hopefully, and God willing, Jason (Steve Burton) will hurry back and offer his assistance.
“Mike” (Maurice Benard) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) readied themselves to launch Operation: Expose Elijah. The game plan? Nina will distract the baddie in her tightest dress, while “Mike” breaks into his office and plants listening devices. What could possibly go wrong? Oh yeah…an alarm.
Don’t ya just hate when you come up with the perfect retort hours, days, or even years after the moment to use it has passed? Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) sure does. Back when Cyrus (Jeff Kober) was blackmailing him with threats lobbied against Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), what Nikolas should have said was, “Yeah, you think you’re so big and tough? Well, I’m gonna buy the whole prison! Whatta think of that, huh?”
And since it would have been a good idea then, Nikolas has decided that it’s still a good idea…hence his purchase of Pentonville. But with one problem solved, Nikolas now has to contend with Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) deciding he doesn’t want to be incarcerated for a crime he didn’t commit.
How rude of him! As if Nikolas is going to take the punishment for the crime he instigated! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
