The General Hospital recap for Monday, December 14, 2020, features Julian escaping by the skin of his teeth, Alexis calling Tracy’s bluff, Maxie laying down the law, and Cyrus revealing the next phase of his plan.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
A cornered Julian (William deVry) did his best to justify his actions, but Sonny (Maurice Benard) wasn’t interested. Instead, he offered his rival choice: death, or the possibility of continued existence in exchange for ratting Cyrus (Jeff Kober) out to the PCPD.
Julian preferred neither option and he resigned himself to death. But the bullet came courtesy of a ski-masked assassin – not Sonny! A shoot out ensued, and Jason (Steve Burton) entered the fray. When the interloper was dealt with, Sonny and Jason realized that the injured Julian had managed to escape.
Later, the men retired to a Brooklyn bar to regroup. Both agreed that they aren’t dealing with a member of Mensa, and Jason was sure that Julian would never give up the goods on Cyrus. In that case, Sonny promised that he would personally end Julian’s reign of terror.
Tracy’s Frame Job
Chase (Josh Swickard) converged on Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) location and attempted to ascertain the facts. Tracy insisted that Alexis had blacked out and gotten behind the wheel of the car. Alexis claimed that she wasn’t drunk enough to black out and forget hitting the highway.
When Chase attempted to administer a sobriety check, Alexis refused to comply. So, with no other recourse, Chase arrested her on the spot. The pair headed to the station, where Alexis would be forced to undergo a breathalyzer test to see whether she was above the legal limit.
If she passes she’ll be free to go – and Tracy will have a lot of explaining to do. If she fails, then she’ll be charged with either Driving While Ability Impaired (DWAI) or Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).
Tough Love
Over at the Metro Court, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) informed Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) that if she planned to continue as Deception’s spokesmodel she was going to have to shape up. And to make sure that the company’s investments are secure, Sasha is going to have to submit to drug tests both regular and random, be served only prepared meals, and more.
Let Bygones, Be Bygones
Meanwhile, in Geneva, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) disposed of Dr. Kirk’s body, then took his place as Franco’s (Roger Howarth) physician. Color her shocked to learn that the voice in Franco’s head belongs to Peter August (Wes Ramsey). General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
