The General Hospital recap for Monday, July 13, 2020, features a flashback to April 28 of this year. In that episode, there was a whole lot of Valentin propping, and a large number of showdowns.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) eavesdropped on a conversation between Laura (Genie Francis) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) and learned that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was no longer planning to fight for custody of her.
In response, the young girl made a beeline for Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) office – missing out on all the praise Laura heaped onto her son’s supposed murderer – and issued an emotional plea to her would-be-stepmother to reunite with Valentin.
Though Nina made it clear that a reconciliation would not happen, she also assured Charlotte that she would always be a part of life. Afterward, Nina called Valentin, interrupted his bonding session with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and asked him to come to talk to his daughter.
And while he did just that, Nina placed a second call to Lulu, told her of Charlotte’s whereabouts, and of the conversation she was having with Valentin.
Everybody Wants Brando
Not only did Molly (Haley Pullos) admit to cheating on TJ (Tajh Bellow), but she also copped to having done so with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) was thrilled that pristine Molly had sullied herself with “human and healthy” behavior while Sam (Kelly Monaco) did her best to alleviate Molly’s feelings of guilt.
To that end, she offered to pick up the car that Brando had repaired for Molly. In doing so, Sam took the opportunity to reward Brando’s kindness with insults and threats. How dare he sleep with a woman who happened to be Sam’s kin!
Finn Gets His Facts Straight
Finn (Michael Easton) paid his brother a visit and demanded some answers about his sullen behavior. When Chase (Josh Swickard) claimed it was the result of him cheating on Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), and getting caught in the act, Finn called bull and pushed for the truth.
A Gentleman’s Agreement
Just when it seemed that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) were about to reach an understanding, Jason (Steve Burton) noticed a sniper keeping watch over the meeting. In response, Sonny offered a deal: Cyrus could remain in Port Charles and do his dirty dealings elsewhere or he could die!
Cyrus chose option one. But he secretly harbored ambitions to eliminate both Jason and Sonny. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
