The General Hospital recap for Friday, April 23, 2021, features Carly getting a right telling-off, Cyrus realizing that trouble is afoot, and so much more.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
As if he didn’t have enough on his plate, what with the gaping stab wound and all, Jason (Steve Burton) had to deal with Carly (Laura Wright) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) squabbling amongst themselves inside his hospital room. The. Nerve!
He kindly asked that Britt take her leave, and then he unleashed holy hell on Carly. How dare she arrange his attack?! How dare she put Shawn (Sean Blakemore) in such an untenable position?! How dare she use up the last favors owed Sonny (Maurice Benard)?! And how bloody dare she make this all about her?! It’s like he doesn’t even know who he’s talking to.
Party Crashers
Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Phyllis (Joyce Guy) and also Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Jax (Ingo Rademacher) are confronted by would-be robbers at the Fireman’s Ball, and it’s Jax who takes the brunt of it all…though he does get a well-timed punch in before collapsing from his bullet wound.
Nina prayed for her ex’s swift recovery, then immediately regretted her decision to do so when Jax laid his eyes upon Sonny before passing out. Gosh, could her life get any more complicated?
Poison Control
Thanks to Britt’s genius, she, Jason, and Carly now know that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) has begun to distribute his addictive and deadly drug to Port Charles’s best and brightest dealers. But unluckily for the trio, Cyrus cottons onto their snooping.
Family Values
After a tense tête-à-tête, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) come to an understanding. He’ll return controlling interest of ELQ to the Quartermaine family AFTER Brook Lynn gives birth. Now, where to find a bouncing baby girl…?
Under The Influence
Laura (Genie Francis) attempted to make nice with Martin (Michael E. Knight), but he was less than responsive to the sister who so cruelly kicked him to the curb.
He did, however, caution her to make nice with their brother in the hopes that she could curb some of his more criminal tendencies. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
