The General Hospital recap for July 20-24, 2020, features a rewinding of the clock to May of this year. Among the recalled storylines are Willow and Michael’s matrimonial plunge, Nelle getting the goods on Julian, and Robert getting a rude awakening.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Custody battles have the potential to get really ugly and sometimes the interested parties have to get creative…like marrying the embodiment of a Disney Princess.

It isn’t exactly a love match, but Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) ARE good friends. They respect and trust one another. And they both feel that Wiley and his well being should come first. So why not go all in and get married? It’s not like they have other partners to pledge their troths to.

But Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is not to be a woman one-upped. If Michael can snap himself a missus – the night before the custody hearing – then she can find herself a husband…right? It should be easy. She’s young, single, and ready to mingle. And she’s incredibly wealthy. Maybe it’s the whole black widow thing that has so many men turned off?

But luckily for Nelle, and unluckily for Julian (William de Vry) she has an ace up her sleeve and it’s all thanks to big mouth Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) who couldn’t help but talk very loudly – and in earshot of Nelle – about Julian nearly killing Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes).

Right Or Wrong?

Sonny (Maurice Benard) continued to fret over his inability to make a decision concerning Mike (Max Gail) and his future care. Should he okay the insertion of a feeding tube? Should other extreme measures be taken to prolong Mike’s life? One minute he seems resigned to the fact that he needs to let his father go and the next he is insistent that Mike would want to continue living. The road ahead is long and arduous.

The Plot Thickens

Booze and viciously lashing out at Peter (Wes Ramsey) didn’t seem to soothe Robert’s (Tristan Rogers) pain over losing Holly (Emma Samms). But succor and sage advice from Laura (Genie Francis) coupled with the revelation that Holly’s death may not have been accidental certainly seemed to have spurred the former spy on and forward.

Trina Vs. Cyrus

Remember the time when Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) goons killed – or is it “killed”? – Taggart (Real Andrews)? Trina (Sydney Mikayla) remembers. And Cyrus being freed thanks to a falsehood telling Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) really sticks in the young woman’s craw. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
