General Hospital Recap: A Dangerous Situation Unravels

The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, August 7, 2019, features a desperate Shiloh, a new warning from a psychic, and a shock collapse.

Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) binds Cameron (William Lipton) in a warehouse and awaits the return of Doctor Cabot. Surprisingly, the mad scientist does have some ethics because he really doesn’t want to attempt the procedure on an adolescent child. After all, the guinea pig could be left a vegetative state or, worst-case scenario, die during testing.

At the Metro Court, Scotty (Kin Shriner) is distracted by the appearance of Ava (Maura West) and Chelsea the psychic. Laura (Genie Francis) is a little put off Scotty hasn’t heard a word she said about representing Lulu should she decide to let her divorce go through. Furthermore, she wonders why Scotty is so concerned about Ava – isn’t he dating Bobbie?

Scotty confirms that he and Bobbie are indeed taking tentative steps in their relationship but he is concerned that Ava is being fleeced by a charlatan. Not one for decency, Scotty asked Laura (his first wife) to try and talk some sense into Ava (his former lover).

Amused, and harboring her own concerns for Ava, Laura does ask to speak to Ms. Jerome. Ava offers a seat and explains to the Madame Mayor her intense feeling that Kiki’s spirit is not at rest. And, Ava asked, if Lara felt that about Nikolas wouldn’t she do exactly what Ava is doing? In fact, Ava encourages Laura to speak to Chelsea herself.

Unaware that her son is at the mercy of two madmen Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) assumes he is purposely skipping out on family time and leaves him a voice mail expressing her disappointment. After Elizabeth heads back to the hospital, Franco (Roger Howarth) runs into Chelsea who apologizes for her early messages.

She tells Franco that she got in all wrong – he HAS to take, “that drive” and that doing so will be an easy decision but the consequences will be dire. Later, Franco gets a call from Scotty that alerts him to Cameron’s location and he goes to pick up the errant young man unaware of the danger he is inviting.

At Crimson, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) arrived to see her mother and took an opportunity to have some girl talk with Maxie (Kirsten Storms). They discussed the Puerto Rican vacation that Sash took with Michael (Chad Duell) and Sasha confides that she has been bitten by the love bug.

However, the jubilation is cut short when Sasha has a dizzy spell and suddenly collapsed on the floor of her mother’s office! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
