General Hospital Recap December 23 2020
The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, December 23, 2020, features Carly tempering her fear, hope springing anew for Sam and Jason, Laura and Martin strengthening their newfound bond, and Drunk Alexis pushing for some truth and honesty.
Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason (Steve Burton) returned to the Corinthos compound and decided not to interrupt the Christmas Eve festivities with the news of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) disappearance. Instead, they towed the company line of him being away on, “business.” To quote Jax (Ingo Rademacher), “People always need their coffee.”
The family’s happy mood was sustained with a dinner courtesy Noodle Buddha, and the trimming of the tree…but when Jason hurried off to support Sam (Kelly Monaco), who had just identified Julian’s (William deVry) body, Carly wound up breaking down. Jax caught her and she told him all about Sonny’s predicament.
Later, when Carly was finally alone, her quiet time was interrupted by the arrival of numerous PCPD officers! But what news awaits Carly?
Over at GH, while Jason and Sam discussed the benefits of spending one last holiday together as a family, Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) extended Martin (Michael E. Knight) an invitation to dine with them at Kelly’s. Martin accepted the generous offer, and the trio bonded over hot beverages and desserts.
Outside of the restaurant, Curtis (Donnell Turner) beat Trina (Sydney Mikayla) and Portia (Brook Kerr) off at the pass before they could misdirect their ire at him. He explained that not only had Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) lied to the two of them, but she had also lied to him.
Curtis and Portia then discussed the plan to hide Taggert, and Portia warned her ex that he would have to be the one to decide whether or not his marriage was worth saving.
Across town, at the Ashford abode, Jordan and T.J. (Tajh Bellow) were joined by Molly (Haley Pullos) and a recently-bailed-out Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Though she promised to be on her best behavior, Alexis surreptitiously imbibed some of the Ashford’s vodka.
When talk turned to Taggert and his survival, Jordan admitted that she had been in the know from the beginning. After making her case, Jordan headed off to find Curtis. Alexis then intimated to Molly that she should reveal her one night with Brando (Johnny Wactor) to TJ…something that the young woman readied herself to do! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
