General Hospital introduced Sasha with great fanfare. Behold, Nina’s (Michelle Stafford) long-lost daughter! (Silas’, too, but, really, who cares?) Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) didn’t want anything to do with Mommie Dearest, at first, but eventually warmed up to the idea.
Which is when viewers found out that she was an impostor hired by Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Now her story is…going nowhere. Should GH just pull the plug? Almost 12,000 fans weighed in on how they feel about the character:
Beginning Bummer
For 58% of you, this tale has been a dud from the start. First of all, you don’t care about Nina. You don’t care about Valentin. And you certainly don’t care about the con artist in their lives.
If Sasha hurts Nina, so what? Remember how Nina cut baby Avery out of Ava’s (Maura West) womb? That hurt, too. And now she’s trying to take over Charlotte’s (Scarlett Fernandez) upbringing from Lulu (Emme Rylan). So if she suffers…so what? At least it will get rid of Sasha.
Pulling Into the Station
A more open-minded 34% didn’t hate the story at the beginning. But they hate it now. It’s just not going anywhere!
Have Nina either find out what’s going on and shriek as she is want to or not. Maybe now that Cynthia Watros is going to take over the role of Nina, you’ll be more invested in the story. But you don’t count on it.
Love It, Don’t Leave It
Only 7% find the storyline emotional and engaging. You can’t wait for the fireworks that are bound to explode once Nina learns what her husband did. It’s going to be epic!
And maybe afterward, Sasha can hook up with Michael (Chad Duell), which will make for an even more interesting tale…when Nina is maybe proved to be Sasha’s mom, after all.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
