General Hospital Rumor Mill: Could Morgan Be Avery’s Father?

With Morgan (Bryan Craig) possibly in the worst manic phase of his life right now, it may not be the ideal time to become a father. However, the whispers through the General Hospital rumor mill may re-write some history and turn the young man into Avery’s dad sooner than later.

When Ava (Maura West) was pregnant, tests seemed to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Sonny (Maurice Benard) fathered the unborn babe. Of course, with father and son as the two potential dads, this wasn’t your average test and Carly’s blood was the determining factor. Did Carly (Laura Wright) do something sneaky in true Carly form–or did simple human error offer the wrong result?

If the writers to plan to pull this paternity switch, is it the right time? Or, is this the reason they wrote Morgan into a corner this week, so he can hit rock bottom and rebuild his life?After all, he is in no shape to be anyone’s father, but knowing Avery is is might be just the incentive he needs to stay on his meds. If watching Kiki get shot because of his mistakes wasn’t enough to force him to get the help he needs, maybe a child will.
