General Hospital Poll: Should Sonny Have Dev In Joss’ Orbit?

Let’s get one thing straight: General Hospital’s Sonny is never wrong. If he says an enemy needs to be rubbed out, a woman put in her place, or a child taken away from her mother, Sonny is always right.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) was right when he slept with the woman who was in love with Jason (Steve Burton). He was right when he insisted on being Michael’s (Chad Duell) dad, instead of that fat loser, AJ (Sean Kanan).

He was right when he excoriated Brenda (Vanessa Marcil) for betraying him, and he was right when he shot Carly (then-Tamara Braun) in the head while she was giving birth to Morgan. They all had it coming.

So now that we’ve got that straight, we have one more, teeny, tiny question. Is Sonny right when he gives street urchin Dev (Ashton Arbab) free run of the Corinthos house… where Joss (Eden McCoy) also happens to live? How almost 13.000 fans see it:

A majority 69% of the audience is urging Sonny to THINK! Think, man. Devon and Joss are both at an age where their hormones are doing the bulk of their thinking for them. Joss is still reeling from Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) death. And Dev grew up on the streets of Ankara.

And kids who grow up on the street tend to be a wee bit less sheltered than cosseted mafia princesses with a tendency to throw a tantrum when she doesn’t get her way. General Hospital fans know this. And if Joss is anything like Carly (Laura Wright), she’s going to have a thing for bad boys. Especially when they’re living right in her house.
