Seems like the three strikes law has made it to General Hospital, as Nelle failed to get parole — simply because she’s a crazy person who put many people’s lives in danger, as well as a liar and a sociopath.
Seriously, how does that explain half the folks walking free around Port Charles? Are fans bummed out that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) will need to stay in the slammer for at least a while longer? How over 16,000 ruled:
General Hospital Poll Results: Lock Her Up
Just because Sonny (Maurice Benard), Jason (Steve Burton), Ava (Maura West), Julian (William deVry), Liesl (Kathleen Gati), and Peter (Wes Ramsey) get to roam free, doesn’t mean 90% of the audience is on board with Nelle getting cut the same amount of slack.
Remember, she did the worst thing possible — she upset Carly (Laura Wright) by dating her son, Michael (Chad Duell). And she claimed to have slept with Sonny. But it turned out she hadn’t. Doesn’t she know that Sonny gets first crack at all the new women in town? Such an insult must not be allowed to stand.
Also, she delivered a Corinthos heir whom she claimed died. The last time that happened, Sam (Kelly Monaco) was also cast out of Sonny’s favor.
Sonny’s children and grandchildren must all live! How else can he take them away from their mothers? Nelle’s sins can never be pardoned.
Home On the Run
Only a tiny 10% of General Hospital fans want Nelle to come home — and turn the Corinthos life — and that snazzy new kitchen, complete with moss — upside down. She holds the key to the Jonah/Wiley switch, and it’s about time she used it.
Sure, she’ll pay in the end, but she’ll make the whole family suffer, first. And you really think they are due some serious suffering. She can go back to jail after that. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
