General Hospital Poll: Can Sasha Be Redeemed?

When Sasha first showed up on General Hospital, fans had no reason to believe she wasn’t Nina’s long-lost daughter. Especially since she seemed so reluctant to strike up a relationship with her rather desperate mama.

But, no sooner had Sasha accepted her biological fate, that viewers learned she’d actually been hired by Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to pull the wool over Nina’s (then-Michelle Stafford) eyes as a way to get back into her good graces.

Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) kept up her charade even as Nina got a whole new visage in the form of Emmy-winner Cynthia Watros, and she entered into a relationship with Michael (Chad Duell), knowing how obsessed he is with honesty after what his ex, Nelle (Chloe Lanier), put him through.

But now the truth is out, and most of Port Charles knows what Sasha did. Can she still be redeemed? How a whopping 15,000 voted:

Of course, 87% have no doubt it can happen, too. This is Port Charles, home of Luke (Anthony Geary) the rapist, Sonny (Maurice Benard) the mob boss, Jason (Steve Burton) the hitman, Sam (Kelly Monaco) the con-artist, Leisl (Kathleen Gatti) the kidnapper, Anna (Finola Hughes) the double-agent, and Franco (Roger Howarth) the serial killer.

Sasha told one measly, little lie. To a woman nobody even particularly likes. And a guy whose stepmother has told, many, many more. Of course, she can be forgiven and redeemed. Heck, maybe no one will even notice!

Lock her up, 13% of General Hospital fans counter. Just because all those other people got away with their evil deeds doesn’t mean Sasha should, too. She should be made an example of.
