General Hospital Poll Results: Who’s Up For a Robert and Liesl Romance?

We know it sounds strange, but Robert seems to be the only person in Liesl’s corner right now on General Hospital.

He’s the only one who believes she didn’t try to kill Franco and Andre and actually did pull off killing Drew, could sparks start to fly… off the metal bars? Almost 6,000 viewers rose to the challenge of answering our unconventional question:

We Do Not Belong Together

Are you poll-making people high, 62% of the audience is wondering. Robert (Tristan Rogers)… and Liesl (Kathleen Gati)? Sure, he may go for the slightly bad girls – neither Anna (Finola Hughes) not Holly (Emma Samms) were exactly saints in their day… or now. But Liesel goes for the straight-out psychos! Tony Cassadine (Thaao Penghlis)? Faison (Anders Hove)?? This couple would never work. And they shouldn’t even try.

If It Ain’t On the Page It Ain’t On the Stage

A smaller 16% of you is more receptive. But the writing would have to be good. The scribe would have to have some pretty swell tricks up their sleeves to make us – and Robert – forget that the woman kidnapped Robin (Kimberly McCullough) and let her family believe she was dead.

Come To Your Senses

And then there are the 14% of General Hospital fans who think this is just what Anna needs to be smacked to her senses. She’s currently obsessed with her long-lost baby boy, Peter (Wes Ramsey). To the point where she’d sacrifice anything for him. Maybe seeing Robert with Liesl would make her realize how ridiculous she’s acting!

Only 8% of the fans think this is a nifty idea, whether for the reason above or just because Liesl is kind of awesome. And she’s been without love for way too long. So has Robert, for that matter.
