Now that Michael knows that Wiley is his long-lost son on General Hospital, the show would like us to believe that he is in danger of losing custody of the tot to Nelle.
Even if Michael wasn’t the grandson of some of the richest people in town and the son of the allegedly most feared mobster on the Eastern seaboard, what court would give custody to a woman who has been sentenced to a mental institution twice, and who is the one who gave her son away versus the man who was lied to for over a year?
But, sure, let’s pretend there’s a risk Michael (Chad Duell) might lose Wiley to Nelle (Chloe Lanier). His case would be made stronger if he was married and could present a happy family front. So, which woman should be the lucky bride? Over 2,000 viewers played matchmaker:
It’s not even an issue for 44% of you as you don’t believe marriage is necessary for Michael to keep Wiley. For all of the reasons listed above.
Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) spent over a year thinking Wiley was the son she gave up for adoption. She grew attached to the boy. Those feelings don’t just go away due to a mix-up. That’s why 29% think Willow would make the best mother figure for Wiley, and thus a wife for Michael. Also, Willow is more or less sane.
A slightly smaller 27% opted for Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Sure, she isn’t particularly maternal. And she and Michael were at least dating and having sex, so they have some sort of relationship, as opposed to Michael and Willow. Sure, go ahead and marry her. Maybe it will make this couple even a smidge more interesting… Now that we know Nina (Cynthia Watros) won’t play grandma, it’s safer. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
