The people who live and love and work in Port Charles on General Hospital are not… the sharpest bunch. In fact, they are usually pretty stupid. About the most obvious things.

Yet, just like on Animal Farm, some characters are dumber than others. So who in Port Charles desperately needs to buy a clue the most? We heard from almost 8,000 more intelligent folks:

Mindless Michael

In a majority victory, Michael (Chad Duell) snatched the crown of cluelessness with 55% of the votes. Forget his worship of Sonny (Maurice Benard), his tolerance of Carly (Laura Wright), and his inability to remember whether or not he likes the Quartermaines… this week.

Let’s focus on his ongoing forgiveness of Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), no matter what she does. Let’s think about his belief that he knows what’s better for Brad (Parry Shen) and Wiley than Brad – who, as far as Michael knows, is the tot’s father – does. Wake up, dude! And smell reality!

Moronic Maxie

Maxie (Kirsten Storms) is no better, 36% chime in. She takes Peter (Wes Ramsey) at as much face value as Michael does Sasha. And Peter is, let’s be honest, a whole heck of a lot worse.

She already lost custody of Georgie to her daughter’s very strange, but less stupid father. Now she’s going to risk being separated from baby James due to her choice of friends. Mac (John J. York), talk some sense into your girl!

Waffling Willow

Only 9% voted for Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Sure, hanging with Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) was less than brilliant. But she’d been in the cult since childhood. She didn’t have much choice in the matter.

And it’s not her fault she thinks Wiley is hers. Some of her choices may be suspect, but, at least, she has vaguely logical reasons for them. Not like the others. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
