Let’s face it, while General Hospital is a serious place, Port Charles is kind of a snarky town. Many a character is known for their snide version of humor, not to mention general condescension towards the masses. But which character are you actually looking for more snark from? Almost 4,000 fans gave us their thoughts:
For 42% of you, nothing beats Franco (Roger Howarth). He may be a serial killer, but he still manages to look down on others. Daresay anything even a little provocative in front of him, and he’ll cut you down — while also likely cramming food into your mouth. The better to keep all the dialogue for himself. This is the guy you always expect to make you smile, if not laugh out loud.
An almost equal 40% of the audience leans towards Liesl (Kathleen Gati). She may be a cartoon villain who kidnaps people and spent decades enamored by a complete psychopath who barely noticed she existed…
But she can be funny. While Franco comes off as thinking he’s better than everyone else, Liesl is more of a hates all humanity snarker. And you’re loving it!
A smaller 15% of General Hospital fans are sticking with the classic. Ever since Scott (Kin Shriner) returned from Mexico in time to catch the bouquet at his ex-wife’s wedding to her rapist, he’s been… snarky. And cynical. As he has every right to be. He’s a great Scott, so why not more Scott?
Only 3% voted for random others. So we have to assume you meant Tracy (Jane Elliot). She’s always good for a snark. Also Ava (Maura West) and Nina (Cynthia Watros).
Maybe we should put all of the above in one room and let them go at it — may the best snarker win! Which is good news for all fans. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
