No General Hospital fans ever agree on everything, but check out what almost 3,000 agreed — and disagreed — on when it came to the biggest Port Charles letdowns of 2019:
Now you see him, now you don’t. Or at least, that’s how it felt to 55% of you when it came down to Dante’s (Dominic Zaparogna) return… and quick exit. All he had time for was to say hi to Rocco, jump into bed with Lulu (Emme Rylan), eat some of Olivia’s (Lisa LoCicero) cooking… and freak out.
Dante was so afraid he’d be a danger to his wife and family that he opted for reprogramming at a mental facility… and a divorce. Fans are most displeased about this tease.
A smaller 25% felt that way about Hayden’s (Rebecca Budig) equally brief pop-in. She hid Finn’s (Michael Easton) daughter, Violet, from him. Then dumped the tot on him and Anna (Finola Hughes) and high-tailed it out of Port Charles. Sure, she was forced to. But viewers are wondering why we had another tease.
Only Oscar
Considering how many folks were hosting Twitter parties to cheer Oscar’s demise, it’s a surprise only 9% of General Hospital fans felt let down by his death. Of course, it is sad when a teen dies, but this teen’s death took up the whole show for way too long.
An even tinier 7% didn’t feel the Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) reveal was handled improperly. Now that Nina (Cynthia Watros) knows the girl is not her daughter, you’re just waiting for her to learn what else is really going on.
A Is For… Mama
And only 4% feel gypped out of a reveal as to whether Anna — or Alex — is actually Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) mother. Maybe it’s because you’re enjoying the story. Or maybe it’s because you don’t want to encourage revisiting it. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
