Quartermaine heirs are slowly starting to migrate home on General Hospital. Tracy (Jane Elliot) is back. And there’s a new Brook Lynn (Amanda Sutton). Does that mean it’s time for Dillon to return – again? The opinions of over 9,000 fans below:
General Hospital: Welcome To the Family
A winning 51% of the audience says an emphatic yes to Dillon rejoining his family and taking his rightful place as a Quartermaine. (Hornsby? That’s a stupid last name. Tracy was right to make him a Quartermaine.)
GH could definitely use another young leading man on the canvas. He and Lulu (Emme Rylan) have a complicated past. And Maxie (Kirsten Storms) could certainly do better than Peter (Wes Ramsey). There are plenty of possibilities!
Plus, Michael (Chad Duell) could use a challenger. Maybe having Dillon there to push him will help Michael decide once and for all if he’s going to throw his lot in with the Q’s.
The Inn Is Full
A smaller 30%, on the other hand, see no place for Dillon. The Lulu well is dry — besides, any guy would just be a placeholder until Dante’s (Dominic Zaparogna) inevitable return.
Maxie has too much baggage, and if any of Edward’s grandsons deserve to sit in the big chair, it’s Ned (Wally Kurth). He’s paid his dues both at ELQ and in placating his and Dillon’s mother.
Casting Couch
Finally, 19% are open to the idea… but it depends on casting. The role’s first adult originator (there was a mop-headed kid while Tracy was temporarily living in The City), Scott Clifton, is busy playing Liam on The Bold and the Beautiful. But, perhaps they’d want to see Robert Palmer Watkins return.
Dillon is a pivotal role. He might be the key to revitalizing the Quartermaine family. You can’t cast just anybody… General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
