Conflict has crept into the General Hospital marriage of Ned and Olivia — and it’s not pretty right now for this pair. He thinks she should stay by his side and help him repair the relationship he shattered all on his own with his daughter. She hasn’t seen her son in over a year and finally has a small window to do so — so she went. Oops.
General Hospital Polling
Now, this twosome is farther apart, both emotionally and physically, than they have ever been during their marriage. She’s flown the coop with Robert (Tristan Rogers) to go see Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Soap Hub asked if fans are Team Olivia or Team Ned in this battle royale — and over 3,000 played marriage referee. Find out who won below.
Team Olivia
OK, so this wasn’t too hard to predict after all. It looks like 90% are siding with the beauty from Bensonhurst. Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) has been a wreck since Dante’s mental collapse kept him away from her protective hugging arms and manicotti. How could Ned, who let’s face it, has been too preoccupied to really be there for his wife, stand in her way?
You know this is very important to Olivia, even if he numbskull husband doesn’t. You applaud Robert for at least trying to do something to end her misery and get her some answers. Yep, you’re Team Olivia all the way. Ned, you’ll have to fix your mess yourself.
Team Ned
That means 10% are Team Ned (Wally Kurth). Is it so wrong for a man to not want to see his wife take off with a secret agent with a hot accent to parts unknown, chasing her son who asked her to leave him alone? Really? You get it. Ned has reason to worry — and to ask her not to go.
Yeah, there’s also the issue of needing her to smooth out his rough road ahead with daughter Brook Lynn (Briana Lane). However, this is probably really about the fact that Ned saw the small connection between his wife and Robert. You’re Team Ned — you want to see him keep his marriage together! Nothing is wrong with that! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
