Valentin just learned that he isn’t really Mikkos Cassadine’s son on General Hospital. He is, however, Helena’s. Out of the frying pan and into the fire?
General Hospital Polling
He’s been obsessed for decades with taking over the Cassadine legacy. Just ask Nik (Marcus Coloma). But now that he knows he’s not a blood heir, should Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) set his sights on another family’s empire? How about the Quartermaines? Should Valentin take over ELQ? Over 8,000 members of the board voted!
Not Good Enough
The Quartermaines don’t deserve Valentin, 55% of the audience defends its golden boy. He is a brilliant businessman. (Just because we’ve never seen him do anything brilliant… or business-y, doesn’t make that any less true.)
The Quartermaines are all losers. Well, the few of them who are left. If Valentin were to come in to run the company, he would inevitably make it a huge success, for which the Quartermaines would take the credit and reap the spoils. Valentin should work for himself, not somebody else.
Tangled Webs
Then again, 35% of General Hospital fans counter that Valentin doesn’t deserve to be subjected to the Quartermaine family. They’re always squabbling amongst themselves, trying to kill each other, swapping partners and bed-hopping, not to mention saying bad words at each other. Valentin is much too sensitive to deal with that sort of stress. He’s a delicate soul. Haven’t you heard him whine endlessly to Anna (Finola Hughes) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) about it? He needs to be cosseted from the dark side of life.
Go For It
Only 9% want to see it happen. Valentin needs a family legacy to control and the Quartermaines have run out of heirs. Yeah, yeah, Michael (Chad Duell). If he identifies with the Corinthos family, let him take over the Corinthos family business. Maybe we’ll finally find out what exactly it is. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
