Does General Hospital need a good, old fashioned redemption? And is Nelle (Chloe Lanier) whom it should happen to?
General Hospital Polling
Sure, she wormed her way into Carly’s life (life Carly did to Bobbie), and she pretended to sleep with Sonny (like Carly actually did to Bobbie). She lied about her baby (like Carly did to Tony), and she made an alliance with a bad man (as Carly did with Sonny… and we all know how that worked out). So can this girl be redeemed? We’ve got the opinions of over 2,000 fans.
Bad Girls Have More Fun
A winning 67% of the audience wants Nelle to stay bad. But not for her sake – for yours! A nice Nelle would be a dull Nelle. Sure, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) would still self-righteously – and hypocritically – call her names. But the bloom would be off the rose if Nelle didn’t actually deserve them. Keep her bad. That’s what makes her good!
Honest Broker
A smaller 21% of you want Nelle to stay bad… but legal bad. Illegal bad means she gets carted off to jail and isn’t around anymore to call Sonny and Carly on their self-righteous hypocrisy… or be a thorn in Michael’s (Chad Duell) side over Wiley. Nelle can lie and cheat and taunt and smirk. Those things aren’t illegal. At least, not in Port Charles…
Love Child
In last place with 12% are the people who believe Nelle deserves as much love as anyone else. She just needs to clean up her act, wash her hands of Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), stop tangling with the Quartermaines, do everything Michael says, and admit she was wrong, and the Corinthos family is always right.
Then she can get the same love and respect as everyone else in Port Charles. That will be her redemption. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
