Peter has always been the problem child of General Hospital. First for Faison (Anders Hove), and now for Anna (Finola Hughes) – though a huge segment of the audience still doesn’t believe he’s truly her long-lost child.
Alas, at the moment, Anna is convinced he is. And she is determined to protect him. Even if that means suppressing evidence that Peter (Wes Ramsey) called the hit on Franco (Roger Howarth) and Andre (Anthony Hamilton).

The majority 47% of you aren’t surprised by Anna’s stance. She doesn’t have a great parenting track record. The first seven years of Robin’s (Kimberly McCullough) life were spent thinking she was an Italian orphan living with her grandmother, Filomena, while ‘Luv’ was just a family friend. Then Anna and Robert (Tristan Rogers) missed even more time with Robin by playing dead as she suffered through Stone’s (Michael Sutton) death and contracting HIV.

Anna gave Peter up for adoption and never breathed a word about him to anyone. She didn’t expect him to be raised by Faison, and she certainly didn’t expect him to come back into her life all raspy and angry. She feels she owes him. This is it.
Dazed and Confused
She’s just not thinking straight, so 28% of General Hospital fans don’t blame Anna for her choices – even as they don’t approve of them. Once she comes to her senses, she’ll drop Peter like a hot potato. And remember her past on the right side of the law.
Snap Out Of It, Anna
Finally, 25% of the audience is channeling Cher and wanting to slap Anna out of her trance. She needs to see Peter for who he really is, which is a bad guy who does bad things… and not even for good reasons. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
