The Right Stuff
For a winning 54% of you, Dante did what he had to do. He thinks he’s a danger to those he loves. And he loves Olivia. Seeing her was not what he needed to get well, and it was not what she needed to put her mind at ease – according to Dante. Like his father, Sonny (Maurice Benard), Dante is very good at knowing what’s best for other people. And at suffering nobly when his self-sacrifice isn’t properly appreciated.
Cruel Intentions
A smaller 35% of the audience saw nothing noble in Dante’s behavior. You saw cruelty. Dante has to know how much his mother loves and misses him, even if he doesn’t know everything she had to go through to get to see him.

He also has to know that Olivia will be on his side no matter what, she’s got his back, ride or die in a way that pretty much no other human being ever will. To shut the door in her face isn’t only cruel, it’s inhuman.
Cowardly Lion
It’s Jason’s (Steven Burton) Box Of Pain all over again, 11% of viewers sigh. Remember when Jason turned his back on Jake, claiming it was safer for him and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) that way, but really it was because contract killing was more fun than playing Daddy?
