General Hospital fans have quite a few offenses they would like to see Peter, he of the raspy voice and glower, pay for.
General Hospital Polling
First and foremost, is his showing up out of nowhere, turning Anna’s (Finola Hughes) history upside down, and making viewers question everything they thought they knew about her relationship with Faison (Anders Hove), not to mention Robin (Kimberly McCullough) and Robert (Tristan Rogers).
But those are crimes only The Powers That Be can bring to justice. On the other hand, Peter is indirectly responsible for the death of Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and directly responsible for Drew’s (Billy Miller) death, and that’s under the Port Charles Police Department’s jurisdiction. (We know, we know, they’re not going to win any prizes for crime-busting.) Should they? Over 3,000 weighed in:
And Throw Away the Key
Go get ’em, 80% of General Hospital fans cheer. Peter (Wes Ramsey) should have been locked up years ago, but better late than never. He isn’t just useless and a waste of airtime that could go to a more loved — even a more liked — character. Peter is actively annoying. And not in a love to hate sort of way. He gets away with crime after crime. Like Sonny (Maurice Benard). And without the dimples. Sorry, Peter. No dimples, no amnesty. Lock him up!
Good For The Gander
Peter is no worse than over half of Port Charles, a contrary 20% insists. Is he worse than Valentin (James Patrick Stuart)? The aforementioned Sonny? Jason (Steve Burton)? If they can get away with all they get away with, why can’t Peter?
Besides, we need a villain to stir the pot and keep the other characters on their toes. He can romance Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and be shifty on the side.
And, if and when the PCPD desperately needs a win and there are no other options available, OK, then Peter can get the customary slap on the wrist. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
