General Hospital knows from young love. There was Laura (Genie Francis) and Scotty (Kin Shriner). Follow by Laura and Luke (Anthony Geary) — you might have heard of them. They were kind of a big deal. And not just on the internet.
There was Robin (Kimberly McCullough) and Stone (Michael Sutton). And Robin and Jason (Steve Burton). Not to mention Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst).
Now, we have Michael (Chad Duell) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Michael is still mourning the death of his son, unaware that Jonah is his godson, Wiley. But he is aware that Sasha spent months pretending to be Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) long-lost daughter.
So this is a couple with many soapy issues. But are the setting your love in the afternoon hearts aflutter? Almost 10,000 fans shared their thoughts:
My Sweet
They’re so sweet, 70% of General Hospital fans coo. Sasha isn’t a bad person. She just got caught up in a bad thing… by a very, very bad man named Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). And Michael deserves some happiness, after the crazy that was — and still will be — Nelle (Chloe Lanier). (Plus all those other dead girlfriends. Seriously, the dude is a jinx.)
Things are about to get super dramatic as Michael — finally? eventually? maybe? — learns the truth about his baby, so it’s nice for them to have some downtime until then.
Michael and Sasha: Dull as Dust
Does downtime have to be dull, a small 30% of the audience wonders? Michael kind of drags himself from place to place as the Eyeore of Port Charles, while Sasha really has no business being there in the first place.
She came to town under false pretenses, and now those pretenses have been exposed. This isn’t a case of you being on the edge of your seats waiting for their secrets to come out because you’re excited about the pay-off. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
